How would you rate my fantasy baseball team?? from 1-10 and also, any tip and pointers??

This is a 12man league, head to head, and my players are the following: C Joe Mauer, 1B Nick Swisher 2B Chase Utley SS Michael Young 3B David Wright OF Raul Ibanez, Dave Roberts, Alex Rios and i have Mike Jacobs on the bench. My Starting Pitchers are Jeremy Bonderman, Scott Kazmir, Dan Haren, Chris Young, Kelvim Escobar, Dave Bush, Scott Olsen, Chad Billingsley, Seth Mclung, Daniel Cabrera, and my Relief Pitchers are BJ Ryan, Akinori Otsuka, Ryan Dempster, Jose Valverde, Salomon Torres, and Matt Capps. I would welcome any tips and pointers.

How would you rate my fantasy baseball team?? from 1-10 and also, any tip and pointers??
I see a few things I would like to assist you with:





1) Your OF is a little thin - Some nice sleepers to consider are: Jason Kubel, Shane Victorino, Corey Hart, Jonny Gomes, and maybe take a flier on Slammin' Sammy Sosa.





2) Chad Billingsely - I read recently that Grady Little is going to be using him as a long reliever. Translation of "long


reliever" in fantasy terms = Useless. I would drop him for another starter - Is Minnesota's Matt Garza available? If so, go get him and thank me later :o)





3) Keep your eyes peeled as the season goes on for closers. I like that you've piggy-backed Capps with Torres - Torres is no sure thing. I would consider doing the same with Dempster.. I dont see him holding down his job in the Windy City. Consider dropping a guy like McClung (even though he's technically a closer) for either Bobby Howry, or Kerry Wood.

Reply:6 - You need more power. Your infield seems pretty solid but you really don't have much power at all in the OF. Your team's hitting should do OK in avg and hits but I would be concerned with HR and RBI. Maybe package some pitching to get a power bat for the OF. I like Roberts but just as a Utility/Bench player. He helps with a couple of stats but provides nothing on others.

Billingly is NOT starting this season. Also, get some more power. OF is deep with it.
